Book Reviews:

Wow. I learned more from reading the book than I have learned from getting metacognitive therapy for over half a year.
Jane

My doctor asked what I had done, as I have a completely different attitude than I usually do. I have suffered from depression for many years, but after this book, I don’t have it anymore, not even a winter depression. It’s really nice. So, a BIG THANK YOU.
Anne

Thanks for a great book. It has given me the tools to get rid of psychological challenges that have followed me most of my life. At the age of 37, I have rediscovered the carefree mind of my childhood.

I simply have to thank you for the wildest results achieved in just 6 days after reading your book, “How to Control Your Thoughts and Feelings”. The results probably won’t blow your mind, but I’m totally blown away!
I managed to become aware of and stop ALL negative thoughts throughout the weekend and ever since.
I have read self-help books for years, been to a psychologist, hypnotherapist, healer, clairvoyant and nothing has helped. Until I read your book.
6 days – mind-blowing in the most literal sense of the word.
Liza

Just want to say thank you for the book.
So far I haven’t been able to find anyone who could help. But now I feel that I can do a lot myself.
Bianca

It is a pleasure to read the book and discover the effect of the “happy faces” exercise. I was often in a situation where I got stuck in something negative, but now I see the positive in an easy and natural way – it’s a great relief.
Marian

I have read the book “How to control your thoughts and feelings” with great passion. I would like to express my enthusiasm for the learning and the techniques contained in the book. I have previously dealt with Jung, cognitive theories, healing, metacognitive therapy, hypnosis etc. Have had many thoughts about why and how. So, reading the book is a mind-blowing experience. Now suddenly a lot makes sense.
Bethany

Now I have read your book and there are so many good things to work on. Thank you for bringing the brain down to earth, where it is easier to access and is not wrapped in nice descriptions and “look how smart I am”. You have a style that appeals to me. There is a long way between books and professionals who serve it in an accessible language for everyone – thank you. I’m already looking forward to your next book.
Kim

The book “How to control your thoughts and feelings” is really fantastic, easy to understand and has really good inputs for changing your ways of thinking and paying attention to your stuck patterns. The attention training exercises have made me want to continue and get better.

Have read this exciting book by Lars Fomsgaard, who shares knowledge about brain research, neuropsychology and neuro-pedagogy. Historical and new knowledge is presented in an easily accessible “human language”, so that everyone can understand and benefit from it, and tools for us all to better understand what happens inside the heads of us humans.

When I started reading this book, I imagined that it would probably be challenging to read – a bit dry and perhaps difficult to understand. Therefore, I decided to read ten pages of the book every day and then read a novel at the same time. It also went well the first few days. But then something happened. I was so engrossed in this book that I completely forgot about the novel. Because How to control your thoughts and feelings is a really interesting and exciting book – and neither daring nor difficult to understand.
Rachel

I have read your book “How to control your thoughts and feelings”. In that context, I feel like thanking you for all the knowledge you have gathered and conveying it so clearly. It is a gold group.

I have read Lars Fomsgaard’s book How to control your thoughts and feelings, and it has made quite a few pieces fall into place. His simple presentation of how our brains work has forever instilled an understanding of what happens when I respond to what happens.
That is why I am so happy about this book by Lars Fomsgaard, who has been kind enough to collect an impressive amount of knowledge about brain research and written this book, which is aimed at EVERYONE who wants to understand their own thoughts and feelings.
Jane

Can be highly recommended. It really is an exciting and inspiring book, where you will get many good tools for self-help. Lars manages to make a very complex subject understandable.
Tina

Exciting and entertaining book that teaches you how to work with your thoughts and change a negative thought pattern to a positive one and live more in the present. For everyone who is interested in how our brain works – and those who want inspiration to work with their thoughts and feelings.
Ann-Bridget

I wanted to say thank you for your book. You are fantastic and the way you convey your knowledge is also fantastic. The subject is something I deal with myself, and which I research and am passionate about. A super good experience to read your book.

“It is clear that Lars has managed to write a book that will benefit a lot of people, especially those who might tend to have negative thoughts. Thoughts that might actually hold them back from living their dreams.
The book has two legs to stand on: 1. To make an easy-to-understand and practically usable book that anyone without prerequisites would be able to understand and use. 2. To support the content with as many research results as possible and to give those interested in science the possibility of easy access to these results. The two points fulfill the book to perfection. Great recommendation from here!
Louise

Changing one’s attention pattern acts as a cognitive vaccination against depression. The work with attention and awareness is thoroughly described, and you immediately feel like trying out games and possibilities. The text is clear and easy to read. Otherwise, the book is inspiring and convincing, and you can hardly wait to start trying out the more entertaining possibilities.
Bethany

I finished reading your book yesterday. It was just good. I could hardly stop myself when I told others about the book at work today.
